Annie Alonso

An Experienced Trial Attorney for the People
Annemarie Alonso is a trial attorney with a passion for helping people. Prior to joining Saeed & Little in 2019, Annie spent almost seven years as a public defender in Indianapolis, Indiana. She has experience litigating all sorts of criminal matters including the highest level of felonies including murder. Since joining Saeed & Little she has expanded her trial experience to Federal court, trying civil rights and institutional sexual abuse cases. She has tried dozens of bench and jury trials in various courts. Annie now focuses her practice in the areas of criminal defense, civil rights, and plaintiff focused litigation.
A native Hoosier, Annie is a graduate of IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law and DePauw University, summa cum laude. While in college, she studied abroad in Chile and Ecuador and focused on equal rights for women. When she returned to the Hoosier state, she interned with a non-profit that helped refugees assimilate in Indianapolis. In law school, she received a scholarship to work with the National Immigrant Justice Center in Chicago to aid refugees and asylum seekers obtain citizenship. Se habla espanol.
